A monumental sculpture<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Created by Jean-Pierre Raynaud, an artist born in 1939 and renowned for his works blending minimalism and symbolism, the Pot Or is a monumental sculpture covered in 23.5-carat gold leaf. Made of laminated polyester and treated steel, this work expresses both formal simplicity and striking visual power. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

International influence<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Le Pot Or was originally commissioned in 1985 by the Fondation Cartier, becoming one of the artist’s most famous pieces. Exhibited at Jouy-en-Josas, then in Berlin, Beijing and finally on the terrace of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, this monumental sculpture measures 3.5 meters in height and up to 3.92 meters in diameter at the top. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
